Greetings Parents/Guardians,
It is hard to believe that this is the first week of Oswego KidsTech for the Fall Semester. We look forward to seeing everyone participating in Campus KidsTech from 6pm - 7:30pm this Wednesday.
We have a lot of great programming planned this semester, with some brand new activities for your students! We are looking forward to seeing you here on campus in Park and Wilbur Halls this Wednesday, September 30, for the next 4 weeks.
As a reminder, we have parking lot E23, the one right behind Park Hall, reserved for KidsTech, so you are free to park there to bring your students in.
Below are the room assignments for this semester:
Kindergarten - Park 214
1st grade - Park 212
2nd & 3rd - Park 101 and Park 102, we will put you in the correct room when you get here
4th - Park 204
5th - Park 115
6th - Wilbur 191
Items to Take Home
Thanks to the National Grid funding, for which we are very grateful, each KidsTech student will bring home the activity and learning materials to continue to learn together with. We hope to spark your child’s interest to continue learning STEM concepts and skills.
As a reminder, all items brought home need adult supervision.

We had some exciting sessions of STEM 4 Kids and Young Inventors the first two weeks and can’t wait for the learning to continue this week! This week’s session will be this Wednesday from 6pm - 7:30pm.
In the meeting with parents and guardians last week I learned that some of you are having trouble reading the emails, which are sent via a oswego.edu Gmail account. If you have Gmail, try forwarding the messages to that for better formatting. Also, I will be copying all announcements going forward to: https://sites.google.com/oswego.edu/kidstech/announcements , which should be mobile friendly.
Week 3 Classroom Photos: Week 3 is classroom photos with teachers, so please arrive a few minutes early.
Another Special Event for Parents/Guardians: Department Laboratory Tour
Our department chair, Professor Richard Bush, will be giving a tour of the many technical labs and classrooms used by our students.
We would like all parents/guardians to go on the tour so you can be aware of what our department has to offer college students.
The tour will start at around 6:15pm (directly following the above presentation) from the lobby between Park and Wilber halls (please go to Park 102/103 if you don’t know where this is).
The tour takes approximately 30 minutes.

If you have participated before, you realize that we take lots of photos. We are taking the photos, and hope to have half of them edited soon.
Lesson Materials: So you can ask your child about what they have been learning, we have placed the presentations and learning booklets from weeks 1 and 2. Every semester has new lessons and STEM activities for your child.
