Here is a list of a few free learning apps that I have enjoyed using with kids in the classroom, and also some apps that parents have spoken positively about when using them at home with their kids. You can click the pictures to access these apps in the App Store.
I use two apps fairly regularly to keep you connected to what is happening in the classroom, and how your child is doing academically. Those two apps are Seesaw and ClassTag. Click the buttons below to find information on how to install and use both apps, or I can help you install those when you come to Open House!
I am hoping to post more activities here, or links to websites that have great ideas for things you can do with your child at home to enhance their learning! For now, my advice is to start getting in the routine of reading a story every night (or as many nights as you can) to your child. If you don't have many books, the Osceola Public Library is a great resource, or just about any book you want has a video recording of it on YouTube! Play, talk, and read with your child. Educational apps and games are great, and there are many options out there, but nothing can replace hands-on play time activities!
