How Can You Use the Primary Library During the DLP?

Primary Library continues to support our gecko families to continue the passion for reading. We also continue to support children with their research during DLP.

Librarians connect with every class weekly for live reading or post information literacy skills lessons on Seesaw.

Following are the ways that students can access library resources for reading and research:

OSC library catalog : When you click on this link it takes you to this landing page.

You can access the OSC Library Catalogue in two ways, one is to use the common username and the password in the text box, or your child can sign in with google that takes them to his/her account.

In the catalogue, primary students can access the Gecko Portal to check the book collection or the Primary Databases to access electronic databases for research or e-books.

Students from Grades 3-5 can request for one fiction and one non-fiction on a google sheet which we have provided for the students through Seesaw. Librarians will pack the books every Friday and will make them available for collection at the gate after 3.00pm. Similarly, library books can be returned to the gate as a package, with your child’s name to the school gate.

Students also can check the books outstanding in their name by clicking on the little ribbon sign on the top black panel and then click on my profile.
