All medical excuses must go through the main office. If your child needs to be excused from PE classes due to illness or an injury, a parent note is required. A parent note is acceptable for 1 day and if needed for a maximum of 3 days.
After the 3rd day, a doctor's note will be required to be excused from PE. Anytime, a child does not participate in PE, he/she is not allowed to participate in a school athletic practice or game that same day.
LONG TERM Medicals (ex: pneumonia, broken bone, surgery) will be handled differently. Students will be assigned to a study hall so that they do not fall behind on their academic work and will be given an "incomplete" on their report card. This will NOT count AGAINST their grade)
