Sagar Verma is a postdoctoral fellow at FLAIR Lab. His research focuses on setting up a time domain thermo reflectance capability at OSU and modeling laser sintering of printed films using COMSOL. He received his PhD from IIT Rourkela in 2023.
Devyn Duryea is a doctoral student at Oregon State University. He is from Seattle, Washington. He received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Northwest Nazarene University in 2020. He then joined Boise State in the Fall of 2020. His research in Dr. Nirmala Kandadai’s FLAIR group focuses on ultrafast laser ablation of novelmaterials for nanoparticle creation and refractive index modification
Javier Corona is a doctoral student at Oregon State University. He received BA in Physics from Colorado College and BSEE from Columbia University in 2020. From his experience, he gained an interest in photonics, solid-state devices, analog electronics, and circuit design. He worked under Dr. Hod Lipson in the Creative Machines Lab at Columbia University towards the development of a low-cost, open-source ultrasound imaging system. His research focuses on modulated photothermal radiometry. He was awarded the prestigious GEM fellowship in 2023.
Ellie Schlake is a doctoral student at Oregon State University . She is from Meridian, Idaho completed her B.S in Electrical Engineering with an Applied Math Minor as well at Boise State University She was the VP of Philanthropy in the engineering sorority, Phi Sigma Rho. Her research focusses on Laser Sintering for In Space Manufacturing. She was awarded the prestigious NSF GRFP fellowship in 2023.
Taylor Brennan is a doctoral student from Oregon State Univeristy. He is a former veteran from the Armed forces . His research focusses on the generation of novel doped 2D materials using LASiS
Fatimah is pursuing her accelerated masters program in our group. Her research is in characterizing a novel plasma jet printer using optical emission spectroscopy
