Practicing gratitude, or taking time to reflect on what we are thankful for, promotes kindness, community, quality of sleep and an overall sense of happiness. By focusing on the positive things in your life, you feel better. But gratitude is also about noticing all the little things in your life that you can be happy about too. You train your mind to notice & remember the good.
Positive mantras, positive self-talk and strong positive thinking are powerful social-emotional tools that can help us cope with tough emotions and challenging times. They are skills you can use throughout your life and, when practiced regularly, they can help build confidence, reduce stress, and boost our happiness.
