FCCLA Recruitment Activities
JH High Orientation Day
Before the school year officially starts, our administration invites all clubs and organizations to set up a booth during our Junior High Orientation Days. Our chapter officers had a booth, handed out flyers, and showcased some of our chapter highlights from the past year. At orientation, we had 30 students sign up to join. This was by far one of our best recruitment efforts of the year! Many students said that had we not had a booth set up, they would have never known they could have joined!
This year, to encourage current members to get others involved, we offered an incentive during membership week. Members that recruited three or more new members, received a 3 Musketeer's candy bar for their efforts. This was a successful way to recruit new members, and was a fun way to get our current members involved too!
For a meeting to kick off the 2025-26 school year we held an Ice Cream Social. Members came and signed up for FCCLA and ate ice cream while Ms.Hornickel and the chapter officers talked about FCCLA and what it was all about. New potential members got to enjoy ice cream and learn all about what FCCLA has to offer!
Dues:
Each member of our chapter must pay $5 in dues to be a part of the chapter by SEPTEMBER 1, 2026. This money is used for attending events and FCCLA expenses. The Nebraska State FCCLA Dues are $9 per member.
