Hi! I am Ms. Hornickel, the FCCLA sponsor at Ord High School. I teach Family and Consumer Sciences classes and am the Assistant Coach for the One-Act Program. I received my Bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 2019. This is my fourth year teaching and my second year teaching at Ord High School.
The President of the Ord FCCLA chapter is Alyssa Lawrence. This is Alyssa's fifth year of being involved with the Ord FCCLA chapter. Alyssa is a senior at Ord Jr/Sr High School. The activities that Alyssa is included in are; Cheer, FBLA, Student Council, Chanticleer Committee, Speech, National Honor Society, and FCCLA. In the future Alyssa plans to go into radiology at the University of Nebraska- Kearney to later proceed in future education to become a radiologist. Alyssa's duty as the President is to keep up with the local, state, and national updates, to start meetings, and to recruit more FCCLA members.

The Vice President of the Ord FCCLA chapter is Carmen Wagner. This is her fifth year of being involved with the Ord FCCLA chapter. Carmen is a Senior at Ord Jr/Sr High School. She is included in; FBLA, Cheer, Student Council, Chanticleer Committee, and FCCLA. Carmen will be attending Hastings College to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education. Carmen's duties as being the Vice President is to go into the President's spot if they're absent and to work with the other officers and committees to follow through with projects.

The Historian of the Ord FCCLA chapter is Azia Giron. This is her fifth year of being involved with the Ord FCCLA chapter. Azia is a senior at Ord Jr/Sr High School. Azia is involved in many activities including; Dance, Track, One Act, FBLA, Student Council, Chanticleer Committee, and FCCLA. In the future Azia plans to attend the University of Nebraska- Lincoln to puruse a business and marketing degree. Azia's job as the Historian is to take pictures at events and to work with the Public Relations representatives keep the FCCLA bulletin board up-to-date

The Public Relations of Ord FCCLA is run by Katrina Cassell. This is Katrina's fifth year of being involved with the Ord FCCLA chapter. Katrina is a senior at Ord Jr/Sr High School. Katrina is involved in: Dance, FBLA, One Act, Chanticleer Committee, Student Council, National Honor Society, and FCCLA. In the future Katrina will pursue a degree at Southeast Community College for physical therapy assistant. Katrina's job as the person of The Public Relations is to help the historian keep the FCCLA bulletin board up-to-date and send advisor items to post on the school website.

The treasurer of the Ord FCCLA chapter is Avery Ladwig. This is her fifth year of being involved with the Ord FCCLA chapter. Azia Giron is a senior at Ord Jr/Sr High School. The things that Avery is involved in are; Cheer, Student Council, and FCCLA. Avery will be attending Northeast Community College in Norfolk this coming fall to purse a degree in respiratory therapy. Avery's job as an FCCLA officer is to keep accurate financial records, write receipts, and to collect dues and other transactions.

The secretary of the Ord FCCLA chapter is Lillie Shoemaker. This is Lillie's fifth year of being involved with the Ord FCCLA chapter. Lillie is a senior at Ord Jr/Sr High School. Lillie is currently involved in: Volleyball, basketball, track, Student Council, National Honors Society, Chanticleer Committee, and FCCLA. In the future Lilie wants to attend the Univeristy of Nebraska- Lincoln to pursue a medical degree in neonatal and pediatrics. The secretary's job is to keep accurate meeting minutes, work with the Vice President of Programs, and to keep an updated spreadsheet of members, including contact information and email addresses.

The VP of Programs of the Ord FCCLA chapter is Skylar Kokes. This is Skylar's fifth year of being involved with the Ord FCCLA chapter. Skylar is a senior at Ord Jr/Sr High School. Skylar is involved in many activities including Church Group, FBLA, One-Act, Speech, and FCCLA. In the future, Skylar wants to pursue an education degree from Southeast Community College. Skylar's job as the Vice President of Programs is to notify members of individual program awards and scholarships, become familiar with state and national FCCLA outreach projects, and to be familiar with STAR events and the FCCLA national programs.

Officer applications are open to any FCCLA member people going into the upcoming grade 9-11 that is involved in FCCLA and is interested in running for an Ord FCCLA chapter officer. You can get an application from Mrs. Hornickel or you can talk to any officer.
