In this project, I delved into the field of cyber forensics as part of an independent research assignment. My objective was to explore career opportunities within forensic science, with a specific focus on cyber forensics. I designed an original Forensic Science Careers Poster that highlights the key aspects of the cyber forensics discipline.

My presentation on the Innocence Project was a strong reflection of my ability to research, analyze, and present complex legal and forensic issues in an engaging way. I successfully highlighted how wrongful convictions occur due to unreliable forensic evidence, prosecutorial misconduct, and systemic biases. By incorporating real-life cases and discussing the role of DNA in exonerations, I effectively conveyed the urgency of forensic and legal reform.
While my presentation on ethical failure in the legal system and forensic science effectively highlighted critical issues, there were areas I could improve. Although I provided strong examples of forensic misconduct and bias, I could have made my presentation more engaging by incorporating more interactive elements. Additionally, I realized that I could have structured my points more clearly to ensure a smoother flow of information.
