This assignment was completed in our unit regarding, World War Two. I chose this because I felt comfortable presenting my knowledge along with the rest of my team on the alliances and leaders in WW2. We had a good cadence and tone while presenting. From this assignment, I learned how to effectively illustrate research and knowledge in a presentable format with visual aids, moreover, it helped showcase my strength in presenting.
The objective of this assignment was to research, plan, and develop, a research essay on the youth's impact on midterm elections, specifically the high youth voter turnout. Through completing this assignment, I learned how to effectively use Google in order to find articles and research that would help me develop my stance on the high youth voter turnout in the 2022 midterm elections. If I had to complete this assignment again, I would improve it by reducing the number of quotes I use, paraphrasing the text into my own words, and proofreading for improper apa in-text citation formatting.

An excerpt of my poem for Law Day, "Balancing the Tides of Freedom".
The objective of this assignment was to create something using an outlet (poem, an essay, a video, etc.) that addresses the theme of Law Day which was the cornerstones of democracy. Students could write about anything that fulfills the theme; however, I choose to write about the amendments and how they cannot be absolute in every situation. Ultimately, I enjoyed this assignment, it taught me that I can use poetry and poetic conventions to convey my ideals and thoughts surrounding virtually any topic.
The task of this assignment was to research, plan, and develop a research paper, on a genocide either that has ended or is currently ongoing. I chose the ongoing genocide of Uyghurs in China. This assignment represents analyzing and researching a social issue connected to a deeper history, which is an important theme embedded in this course. If I had to complete this assignment again, I would proofread my apa citation making sure that it is within the guidelines of proper APA in-text citations, and my grammar.

The task or objective of this assignment was a tag team debate with a group of four people to three people, on the topic of foreign policy in the Cold War. In the perspective of convincing President Truman, to adopt a suitable policy. This assignment further challenged a core theme of this course on, researching, utilizing evidence to support claims, and conveying those themes and reasoning in a clear, concise, and understandable way. I enjoyed this assignment because it was a way for me to better my understanding of how to articulate my claim and my reasonings while speaking, developing counterclaims, and working with my group to achieve a suitable stance.
