For this assignment I was tasked with finding the center and radius of a the circle 4x²+12x+4y²+9=0. To solve this I would have to use the equation, (x-h)²+(x-k)²=r². Taking the necessary steps and by referring to notes taken in my math notebook, I can confidently say that this assignment is an accurate reflection of a glow.
During this assignment I had to divide polynomials and then find their zeros. Due to time constraints I finished this assignment later than I should have. I had a hard time trying to figure out how to do the steps needed to complete it and therefore would constantly ask for assistance from my instructor.
For this assessment I was tasked with filling in the box so that the remainder of the equation was 2x-8. I found that in order for this to be possible, the missing part of the equation would be 0x-8, making the full equation x^2-x √'x^4-2x^3+3x^2+0x-8. I received a 100% for this assignment which is a reflection of my understanding and comprehension of the assignment.
For this task it was a series of questions I had to answer in relation to a rectangular prism. I had to write expressions for the width and length of the box in terms of x and write a rule for the function v(x) to represent the volume of the box. This proved to be a very difficult task for me as I was very confused throughout the assignment and received a 59%.
For this assignment, I was tasked with using rational functions to find the answer to a question. What I had to do was sketch a function based on the equation given to me which included all the asymptotes and/or holes. I had a pretty decent understanding of the material and that is reflected by the 95% I received as a grade. There was only one minor error which made me lose points. The hole that I found on the graph was incorrect therefore making me lose points.
This assignment was challenging for me. I had to use the rational zeros test to answer the question. I had to find all rational zeros of a polynomial. I had very little understanding of the material and that is reflected in the 60% I got as my grade. I needed assistance from my teacher and overall the work was challenging. I was able to find all the zeros, however, I lacked the knowledge that I had to plug them all into the polynomial, which in turn made me lose many points.
