For this assignment, I was tasked with choosing an innovation from between the years 650 and 1450 and writing an essay answering the question, "How did it change the ancient world and how is it still used today?" I chose the practice of hair braiding for this project. I went into depth on what hair braiding is, where it originates, its meaning, and how it affects people to this day. For this assignment, I received a 98% which I feel is a good reflection of my work.

For this assignment, I was tasked with getting into a group of people so that we could work together on researching a nation that existed between the years 650 and 1450 to learn about and examine them. To research their culture, religion, economics, and government and determine if that nation prospected or failed. I received an 88% for this assignment and I think of this as an opportunity to reflect on the project and possibly do more thorough research next time.
