An assignment that I glowed on during the 1st marking period was this one, the Rotations and Reflections Quiz. After studying and practicing rotating and reflecting points, I was given a quiz to prove that I learned, and I did great.
An assignment that I could have grown on during the 1st marking period was this one. In this assignment I was assigned to pretend to be a teacher and give accurate grading to students by identifying potential mistakes or lack of work. I definitely could have done better.
An assignment during the second marking period that I glowed on was this one, the Special Right Triangles quiz. For this quiz I was prompted to identify the perimeter of three given special right triangles, using the given ratios. The quiz required you to work with the square root of various numbers and proved to be very difficult. I was able to complete the quiz and recieved great results.
An assignment during the second marking period that I could have grown on during the second marking period was this one, the Distance Formula Authentic Assessment. This AA required me to use everything I learned about special triangles and apply it to find another perimeter. It came with two parts and proved to be levels harder than the special right triangles quiz. I was not able to find the exact answer but I came rather close.
An assignment during the third marking period that I glowed on was this one, the Mall ECR. For this assignment I was working with triangle angles and lengths in order to find the unknown. A mall was presented and divided into two triangles. Using what I have learned about trigonometry, I was able to find accurate lengths and angles of different areas in the mall.
An assignment during the third marking period that I could have grown on was this one, Trigonometry; Kite. Using everything I learned from trigonometry, I was assigned to find the area of a kite after dividing it into two triangles. I remember struggling pretty horribly. However, once I was able to gather what I learned and what the problem was showing me, I was able to succeed.
An assignment during the fourth marking period that I glowed on was this one, the Area Quiz. In this assignment, my classmates and I were given several lines in equation form and had to forms shapes. Once we found these shapes, we determined the area and circumference of these shapes all together. I was able to do so flawlessly.
An assignment during the fourth marking period that I could have grown on was this one, the Area & Perimeter Test. In this assignment, my classmates and I were given a very complex collage of shapes. Using shape formulas for area and other math formulas we had learned through-out the year, we were to determine the area of the shapes all together. This assignment proved to be incredible challenging.
