An assignment during the third marking period that I glowed on was this Black History Month project. In this project, I had many options to create something to represent black resistance. Out of the many choices I had, I chose a playlist consisting songs that represented black resistance and were made by black people. I glowed on this assignment because I responded to what was requested of me perfectly and recieved a perfect grade.
An assignment during the third marking period that I could have grown on or done better on was this one, Lewis and Clark. In this assignment, after gathering information, I was requested to write in three paragraphs how Lewis and Clark's journey impacted native Americans. At this time I had less of an understanding of how America worked during these times and that could have prevented me from presenting a perfect response to this.
An assignment during the fourth marking period that I glowed on was this one, Abolitionist Movement. In this assignment I was requested to write a 1-2 page response to how abolitionists inspired reform. This was definitely a challenging assignment and with the given time, I think the grade I received was reasonable and impressive.
An assignment during the fourth marking period that I could have grown on or done better on was this one, Early Women's Rights Movement. I was requested to write about arguments for and against women participating in the abolitionist movement and how the abolitionist movement lead to the early women’s rights movement. I could have grown with this assignment because I could have elaborated more on why exactly women involvement was important.
