World History

During the beginning of the year, we started to learn about ancient China and their main religion Neo-Confucianism. Then we were assigned to do a web-quest, which essentially we had to do research and answer questions. For the most part this assignment was not too difficult, but time consuming.  To be blunt during this assignment I should have managed my time better and tried to be strict with my time.

Through the time we spent learning about different civilizations and all kinds of empires. For one of our assignments we were tasked to do research on a civilization that we picked and make a brochure on it. This is notes and resources that we had gathered, this did in fact take quite a bit of time spent on it because of all the different information available

During this unit we had encountered a lot of different words that were new and did not know the diction. We had gone over   all of these words and had to demonstrate  we knew them. I chose to do a poster on gunpowder and the Ottomen Empire.

During the half way mark of the school year, we took a midyear writing assessment. Overall I feel like I could have done better at using my evidence and could have had more evidence. Then I had more details to make my essay stronger.
