I enjoyed this assignment because I was able to build something that functioned and looked nice out of over day objects lying around the house.   

This assignment was completed as a part of our unit about identifying different types of plastics that are used in different fields of engineering  and what effects different types of plastic have on the environment.  

This assignment challenged me to make something that looked nice about and also could do the job it was meant for and actually be protective that was able to open and close 

Through completing this assignment, I learned how to calculate exact measurements for certain parts of an object and how to make sure one part is done right can affect the whole project
