Marking Period 1
The purpose of this project was to make a shoe for Kate's dog so that she could run him. What Kate wants for her dogs shoe was something that was that had bright colors and was very durable and have to be a good fit to not fall off and have good grips to handle different terrane and give good support to his feet. In this project, we did well in collaborating on making a shoe for Kate’s dog. We made a CAD and also a sketch as to what the shoe needs to look like. The shoes have bells so that Diego can be heard by people when he is running so they would not get scared. It also has lights that when Diego runs or walks the shoes will light up. The shoes can be easily stored together so that Kate would not lose one of them. We added everything that Kate has asked for Diego’s shoe. What we would change about this project if we had to make it again would be to find a very waterproof material.

Marking Period 2
The purpose of the project was to make a robot that could be activated by a robot to activate another robot, each of our robots had to use different motions, ours was a rotational motion. Specification that we had to follow was that the robot had to be made was programming a variety of sensors, differentiating between analog and digital inputs and outputs, using sensor data to control motors, Define and toggle variables and apply what our group learned about programming to complete a class challenge. We used the design process to plan out our robot, concept sketches gave us a vision of how our robot will be built. Our brainstorming helped us in solving problems that arose later in the project. Our communication skills helped us efficiently solve problems, and our cooperation skills assisted us in building the robot at a fast and efficient pace. Throughout our build we did well on everything, we had great teamwork and communication skills with each other, but one thing that stood out on this project was our problem-solving skills, during the beginning our robot was unevenly balanced, which affected the movement of the robot as it kept moving in a diagonal direction, but we were eventually able to put our ideas together and solve the problem, we ended with a robot that was evenly weighted, that was able to use a distance sensor to start the robot in a chain reaction and be able to started be by another robot by using its optical sensor. If we were able to complete this project again, we would change our build from the beginning, we misjudged the weight of the robot as one side was greater in weight than the other, and this fault caused our robot to lean and move diagonally when instead we wanted it to move just straight forward.
