PATHWAYS TO PRACTICE (P2P) VIDEO INFORMATION

Description: Pathway to Practice is a joint program offered by NC State’s College of Education and UNC Chapel Hill’s School of Education. The program is all online and self-paced, allowing for flexibility and balance of a beginning teacher’s work-life schedule. The total cost is approximately $5,000, but it is divided into payments of $1,250 every 3 months until all modules are completed.
Licensure areas include:
Math (6-9 and 9-12), Science (6-9 and 9-12) , English/Language Arts (6-9 and 9-12), Social Studies (6-9 and 9-12), Elementary (K-6), and Special Education (K-12).
Eligibility Requirements:
1. GPA Requirement: >2.70 GPA; 2. Content Requirement: 24 combined hours (C or higher) in your subject; for elementary, you need a combination of Math, Science, English, and History. OR the licensure exams in your subject (this shows that you have the content knowledge); A full-time teaching position at a public school in NC.
