Greater Good Magazine (via UC Berkeley) is positioned as “science-based insights for a meaningful life.” It utilises multi-media sources from an intersection of humanities, research, and social science fields to offer tips and tools for everyday life. This set of free Quizzes are intended to give the user insights into various areas of their lives, and provide general advice and further learning based on those results. Topics include: Relationships, Mindfulness, Emotional Intelligence, and more.

On the second and last Thursday of the month @ 7Pm, for support, and education for all survivors. (on going)

Over 50 therapist –led grief support sessions each and every month. Our support allows participants to deal with the emotional and physical manifestations presented by grief.  All of our grief support sessions are offered completely FREE of Charge.

The Al-Anon Family Groups are a fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics who share their experience, strength and hope in order to solve their common problems. We believe alcoholism is a family illness and that changed attitudes can aid recovery.  Al-Anon is not allied with any sect, denomination, political entity, organization or institution; does not engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any cause. There are no dues for membership. Al-Anon is self-supporting through its own voluntary contributions

                                Student Mental Health Advocacy Opportunities

UCLA Open Mind Film Festival- The annual Open Mind Film Festival is a creative forum for teenagers to speak out about the mental health crisis impacting many of our youth. High school students throughout the United States are invited to submit short films highlighting their experiences and concerns surrounding this important topic. Submissions are accepted beginning in the fall of each year and finalist films are screened at the festival held the following spring.

VCOE Anti Vape Social Club- Their advocacy and prevention efforts focus on spreading awareness about the dangers of vaping, cannabis, opioid safety and fentanyl awareness.
