College admission representatives are scheduled for visits in the OPHS College and Career Center during lunch and after school, beginning August 25th. The meetings are great opportunities for seniors to meet the admission officers who read your applications, to explore colleges if you are still developing your college list, and to learn information about colleges that you may wish to use when writing your supplemental college essays . Students should pre-register for these visits by logging into NAVIANCE. Click on Colleges > College Visits > Register. Visits are added daily; please check back often.
Students should view their unofficial transcript in Naviance to ensure that all of the information is accurate, as well as to self-report courses and grades on the UC and CSU applications, and on the Common App (for some colleges). To access in Naviance, go to Colleges > Manage Transcripts, and then download your initial transcript.
Follow the instructions below based on how and where you need your transcript sent. All transcript requests are processed in the order received within 5 school days.

If one or more of your colleges requires a mid-year report and transcript, there will be a google form available later this semester to complete to request a mid-year transcript.
In order to determine whether your college(s) require a mid-year report, you can check the application requirements on each of your college’s admission websites. For Common Application colleges, you can check by looking at the “My Colleges” page on your Common App account, and then viewing the “recommendation requirements.” Click here to view an example.
UC, CSU, and community colleges do not require a mid year report unless a campus contacts you specifically to request one.
Counselors will send mid-year reports in late January 2026. Please contact Ms. Fitts or Mrs. Preston with any questions.
The 2026-2027 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will be available on October 1, 2025. Please attend our financial aid workshops this fall (see below for dates). The FAFSA or California Dream Act Application (CADAA) is Required for Seniors! High school seniors must complete a FAFSA or CADAA, per AB 469. Students/parents may contact us in order to opt out.
