"My husband worked with Mike. I remember going to the OP Trunk or Treat and Mike being the DJ. He had so much fun playing the music. He did a great job!!! You could tell the kids just loved him, and he would sing, and dance, and be silly. He would be right in the middle of a large group of kids of all ages doing the hokey pokey, and having a ball. He would also be encouraging other officers nearby to join in the fun. What a fun loving guy! I know that to say he will be greatly missed is an understatement."

"RIP Officer Mosher. I remember having him in 6th grade. He was so funny and kind, and always made someone laugh. He also would let you come into his office if you were having a bad day. Rest in peace."

"Mike and I had only been on the job for a couple of years when we had to deal with a female OP citizen who was less than thrilled with us. Needless to say, his blue eyes were the only thing that saved him from a not so nice tongue lashing that I took the brunt of. She kept referring to him as "blue eyes", and to me as the officer with bags under her eyes, and bad hair."

"In his time at ABMS he built amazing relationships with students and teachers! We LOVED the time we had him... this is just one of the many times he cracked us up by pretending to steal all the donuts in the teachers lounge! I’m a PE teacher so he would always come in the gym and talk with kids, play endless games of basketball, PIG, and HORSE. He touched so many lives there and his memory will always live on at ABMS and with all of us!❤️"

"Mike taught my CCW class 5 years ago. He is the reason I tell everyone to take the CCW class. I walked away with so much information, he was a great teacher. I also shot 3 gun matches with his wife at the Shoot for Gold charity events. This Family sets the bar on how to be charitable, teachable and Godly. I can’t think Mike enough for the things he has taught me. RIP Brother."

"Officer Mike Mosher and I first met the night of October 9th, 2006, around 11:30 PM as I was on my way home from a night of drinking and Monday Night Football at a local Overland Park bar. I’m guessing that may have been his rookie year. Needless to say, it wasn’t a very pleasant encounter for me, though Officer Mosher was more than considerate and patient; a consummate professional at the ripe old age of 23. I was some 30 years his senior with a son and daughter both slightly older than he. That was also the night that propelled me into 13+ years of sobriety, for which I have always felt a deep sense of gratitude to Michael for saving my life. More than once in those years I thought of reaching out to thank him."
