A. Students will be asked to give presentations online. Please use PowerPoint, Canva, Google slides, Keynote, Prezi, or any other easy application for each team to use to create presentation materials. We ask that students make a presentation that is easy to understand for online audiences. The presentations will not be open to the public and will only be viewed by program participants and people concerned about the program.
A. Each team will have about 5 to 6 members and will be organized so that the ratio of Japanese students to overseas students is 1:1, but not all teams will necessarily be organized in this way.
A. Although the staff of this program will not assign facilitators for each team, student facilitators will be selected from each team to manage the program's progress, liaison and coordinate with the staff. In addition, a liaison meeting with the student facilitators is scheduled for each activity. The staff will monitor the progress of each team at the liaison meeting and respond to consultations via Slack with participants. A supporter from the staff will also participate in each team activity to check on the activities.
A. Experts will give lectures and workshops in each field on five themes: natural science, technology, arts and culture, social sciences, and peace. For details, please refer to the Application Guidelines.
A. 90 minutes workshop will be offered each week.
A. In case of unavoidable circumstances, absences and being tardy will be accepted. Still, we ask that students prepare themselves for the next activity by watching the archives of the missed sessions on YouTube at a later date or by asking their teammates what they did.
