This presentation will showcase OSI’s approach to behavioral threat assessment and management through case examples. The presenters will discuss how OSI utilizes the standard of practice in threat assessment through protective investigations and multi-agency collaborations. The case examples will illustrate the importance of working with local, state, and federal law enforcement partners to prevent acts of targeted violence.

assessment and management processes. The session will focus on considerations for a

comprehensive approach to the assessment of situations involving concerning or

threatening behavior.

This presentation will discuss the benefits of forming a multidisciplinary group to address individuals in the healthcare system who may be on a pathway to targeted violence, and the challenges of building a team from the ground up in a large urban healthcare system, using illustrative case examples.
