Fall

During the fall term, students must complete several administrative tasks, such as the TCPS2, TeamSTEPS Canada, and any other training and safety required certifications for participating in research activities within the specific research context of their practicum. 

Additionally, students will need to write a 5-page research proposal, which is the only graded component for this term. For administrative purposes, this term will be indicated as OC (ongoing course) on the transcript for Fall term.  The grade for the research proposal will carry over to the Winter term and be combined with the other graded components. The final grade for the Winter term will appear as the grade for both terms on the transcript following the Winter term. 

NOTE: It is crucial to understand that failing any component (graded or not) in the Fall term will result in an automatic "not completed" for the Fall term, and the student will not be allowed to continue to the Winter term.
