All applications are reviewed by 3 teammates to determine whom will be selected for an interview. We value the perspectives of every team member and actively work to reduce unconscious bias through reviewer training, multiple perspectives, and a standardized evaluation.
Quick Tip: Make sure your resume is concise, digestible, tailored and spell-checked!
All interviews will be conducted virtually via Google Hangout. You will meet with one of our Qvest.US team members to discuss your background and personal experiences to see how and where you might be a fit at Qvest.US. Our interviewers will evaluate your ability to listen and communicate effectively, seek for demonstrated alignment with our core values, and look for your personality to shine through.
Dress for an interview. We want to know you can present yourself to a client in a professional and tidy manner.
Don't sit directly in front of a window or facing a window as it can make you difficult to see on camera.
Tidy your background or shift to a more subdued location. We want the focus to be on you without unnecessary distractions.
Ensure your device is fully charged or plugged in, and turn off or silence any notifications.
Do your research prior to the interview on what makes Qvest.US unique, the kind of work we do, and how you see yourself fitting into our company.
Test the interview technology ahead of time and login early to mitigate any technology challenges. Better early than late!
Our case interview is not intended to trick you - we don't do riddles or unusual questions! Working with your interviewer, you will analyze a case study based on actual Qvest.US projects. There is no right or wrong answer - we are evaluating your ability to break down a problem, think logically and creatively, and your ability to make a persuasive case for your recommendations.
Listen carefully to the case study, ask clarifying questions, and repeat the question back to the interviewer to ensure understanding. You should plan to take notes!
Think before acting. Avoid rushing into analysis without understanding the question. Take time to structure your thoughts and establish a relevant framework before jumping to conclusions.
Don't get lost in a "standard framework" that you learned in school - we are looking to see how you consume and analyze information, make judgements, and draw conclusions. We want you to see your ability to not only think logically, but also creatively to help drive innovation and value for our clients.
Focus on what will provide value and impact for your client. Avoid getting lost in analysis or details. The end result should always be a clear, concise and persuasive recommendation.
If you are applying for an engineering position, you'll have a technical interview. Our technical interview is not intended to trick you and they will not be riddles or unusual questions. You will demonstrate your technical knowledge and basic understanding of engineering principles.
The formal interview process ideally gives us insight into how you think, prepare and present but we are also looking to understand who you are and how you bring your own personality and perspective. Everyone joining our team becomes a part of the Qvest.US story and we want the best, brightest and inspired to build our team. To get to know you better, Qvest.US holds a mixer for its Consulting Analyst candidates and a Game Night for our Engineer 1 candidates.
Your final interview is with a senior team member at Qvest.US. This is an opportunity for your to present yourself and engage in dialogue with our leadership and ask any final questions you may have.
You will be notified of your status as quickly as possible. Given that our positions are competitive, we are interviewing multiple candidates for each position, and coordinating with several members of our team, this may take a few weeks.
Congrats, we are thrilled to welcome you to our team! We will be reaching out to you and your peers to determine your start date in 2025. Additionally, our onboarding team will be working to get you everything you'll need to start at Qvest.US and integrated as quickly as possible.
