Data Viz: Module 1

Welcome to Omni’s Data Visualization Course. These Learning Communities are designed to be practical, relevant spaces where grantees across funding areas can build shared skills, exchange ideas, and strengthen capacity over time.

This final Learning Community session brings together the concepts from all previous modules into a practical visualization process. Throughout this series, we’ve explored what data visualization is, why it matters, how accessibility affects use, and how equity shapes interpretation. Module 4 focuses on applying those ideas—moving from analysis to insight by starting with a clear point, understanding the audience, choosing the right format, and sharpening the message. This session reflects the Learning Community goal of building usable skills that participants can adapt to their own programs, reports, and communication needs.
