This guide provides basic knowledge, tools, and skills for engaging in three methods of data collection: surveys, focus groups, and key informant interviews. In this toolkit, data collection is considered an integral part of evaluation: the systematic process of assessing the effectiveness and/or efficiency of a program or initiative.
