Tips to manage your Emotions

We are social beings and hence, Social Distancing is out of the norm for us. In case you are experiencing unrest due to lack of social contact, here are some tips to manage your emotions:

  1. Spend time with family over board games, meal preps and dinner time.

  2. Plan to have breakfast together.

  3. Video call extended family and friends.

  4. Remember, a healthy mind needs a healthy body and soul.

  5. Try to work out for at least 15-20 minutes every day.

  6. Go for a walk around the neighbourhood daily.

  7. Eat healthy and maintain a balanced diet.

  8. Read the Morning and Evening Duas. 'Verily in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.' Quran (13:28)

  9. Aim to pray at least one salah in congregation with your family at home.

  10. Turn to Allah and pray for the safety of the Global Community.
