Please share any pictures or videos you have with the rest of the band family; Follow these steps to upload them:

Google Photos Folder

1. Email us at bandpics1@olentangymusic.org asking for a Google Photo upload folder.

2. We will email you a link to a private Google Photo folder; you will need a Google account to sign in

3. The folder will be named something like "XXX photos" and will appear as a "Shared with me" folder

4. Create a new folder (New, then Folder) for the new pictures and give it a unique name 

5. Upload pictures by either:

• 1. Select with New, then File Upload, or 

  2. Drag-and-drop the files you want to share 

     • Note: Drag-and-drop has a 500 file limit; I do batches of <=498

6. Email us at bandpics1@olentangymusic.org with the folder name and # of pictures uploaded so we can know we have work waiting for us

Tips

1. Remember that the current year's competition performance shouldn't be publicly posted online until after the competition season.  We are happy to receive competition videos throughout the season and will share them after the season. 

2. Ensure your camera's clock is set to the right time.  This will cause Google Photos to display the picture in the wrong order.

3. Student's last name or last initial may not be published.  If you accidentally capture a last name/initial you can retouch the picture to make it unreadable.  If you can't retouch the picture yourself please send us an email letting us know what pictures needs to be retouched.

4. Avoid submitting duplicate pictures where the only changes are brightness, color levels, or white balance.  Google Photos will not import duplicate images and we will waste time troubleshooting why that happened.

   • Pictures cropped to change the subject of the picture are welcome.
