This class is an introductory course in which students explore the Arabic language through hands-on activities related to arts, music, and cultural traditions. The course introduces students to the Arabic writing systems including letters and sounds. Additionally, the course develops basic oral proficiency related to themes, such as introductions, family, friends, school, and leisure activities. In addition, students will gain knowledge of Arab cultures and geography.
يعتبر صف العربية ١ مقدمة عن اللغة والثقافة العربية حيث يتعرف الطلاب على اللغة العربية من خلال نشاطات متعددة تتعلق بالفنون والموسيقى والثقافة والتقاليد العربية. كما يركز هذا الصف على تعليم الطلاب القراءة والكتابة بالعربية حيت يتعلمون الحروف و المقاطع والأصوات العربية أولا ثم يتعلمون قراءة الكلمات والجمل البسيطة بعد ذلك .كما ينمي الصف مهارات الاستماع والكلام لدى الطلاب بحيث يكون لديهم القدرات اللغوية لتقديم انفسهم وعائلاتهم واصدقائهم ونشاطاتهم المدرسية بالعربية. كما يعرف الطلاب عن الثقافات العربية وجغرافيا الوطن العربي.

This class is a continuation of Arabic 1. The course is designed to further develop students oral and written Arabic skills via hands-on activities related to family, food, weather, clothes, arts, and cultural celebrations. In addition, students will further their knowledge of the cultures and geography of the 22 Arabic-speaking countries.
يطور صف العربية ٢ المهارات اللغوية التي تعلمها الطلاب في صف العربية ١ حيث ينمي مهارات الطلاب الشفوية والكتابية من خلال نشاطات تعليمية متعددة تتعلق بالعائلة والطعام والطقس والملابس والاحتفالات العربية. كما يعمق هذا الصف معلومات الطلاب عن ثقافات البلدان العربية المختلفة وجغرافيا الوطن العربي.
هذا الصف للطلاب الذين أكملوا صف العربية ١ أو للطلاب الذين يعرفون القراءة بالعربية ويستطيعون أن يكتبوا جملاً بسيطة ويريدون تطوير مهاراتهم اللغوية من ناحية القراءة والفهم ، الكتابة، والمحادثة والكلام.

This class is a continuation of Arabic 2. It will provide students with an opportunity to deepen their Arabic language skills and cultural knowledge of Arab World. Students will expand their vocabulary, grammar, and language structure through learning activities related to clothes, travel, jobs and communities. Students will engage in reading a variety of cultural and literary texts as well as taking part in the activities related to Arab Cultures.

Arabic IV is a continuation of Arabic III. The course emphasizes the improvement of both oral and written proficiency in Standard Arabic. Students will expand their vocabulary, grammar, and language structure throughout learning activities, such as presentations, discussions, role-play, and compositions related to a variety of topics, such as: traditional shopping, music, media, and jobs. Students will engage in watching, listening, and reading a variety of authentic texts to deepen their knowledge and appreciation of Arab cultures, tradition, and history. In addition, students will have the opportunity to participate and help organize the school wide Arabic cultural events.
