The Miss Native American OKCPS Application & Selection Process will consist of:

Eligibility Guidelines
Female Native American student in 8th- 11th grade from 2026-2027
Be enrolled in an OKCPS School and our Title Vi & JOM Indian Education Program.
Maintain at least a 2.5 GPA
Must have their own regalia
Must be or have been a member of the Resonative Youth Dance Troupe or Indigenous Voices Youth Council.
Must not have excessive absences, truancy, or behavioral referrals.
Candidates must take part in a Personal Interview and Presentation with the Miss Native American OKCPS Committee and the OKCPS NASS Director on October 1, 2026 at OKCPS Student Support Center.
If selected, the incoming Miss Native American OKCPS will begin her reign at the annual OKCPS Powwow on Saturday, November 14, 2026 at US Grant High School. The winner is required to be at the powwow from the beginning to the end.

Applications will be reviewed and verified by the MIss Native American OKCPS Committee and OKCPS NASS Director
From the applications received, applicants will be selected to become a candidate. The Cultural Program Coordinator will be in contact with the MNAOKCPS Candidate and her parent/guardian to set up her interview and speaking portion.
