ICB is an honors band program made up of the top band students (grades 7-9) from eleven schools. Selections are made in November with rehearsals and the concert in January.
The 2027 event will be hosted by Spring-Ford.
Students are nominated for this ensemble by Mr. Hess. Nominees will be notifed by email in the fall. Final selections will be made on November 10.
Rehearsals and the concert will be at Spring-Ford High School. Stay tuned...!
Jan. 9 - Rehearsal - 9:00-4:00 - Parents provide transportation.
Jan. 14 - Rehearsal - 12:00-4:00 - Eat lunch in the MS band room at 10:50. We take a bus from OJR at 11:15 and return home at 4:30.
Jan. 21 - Rehearsal - 12:00-4:00 - Eat lunch in the MS band room at 10:50. We take a bus from OJR at 11:15 and return home at 4:30. Jazz Band rehearses on this date.
Jan. 23 - CONCERT! Features ICB Concert & Jazz Bands - 5:00 - Report at 4:30 - Dress Code: All Black
Auditions will be held on November 10 - 7PM @ Spring-Ford 5/6/7 Center
Open to students in grades 7-9!
Learn as much of the music as you can. You will be asked to play a collection of small excerpts from each song in your packet.
