HOME PRACTICE

Students should be practicing at home!  Aim for 3-4 times per week for about 15 minutes each session.

As part of those practice sessions, they will have specific assignments to record and submit.

• Step 1 - Record a video of yourself playing the assigned music.

• Step 2 - Give yourself a rating between 1-5 in the private comment section of the assignment.

•  Assignments are posted and submitted through Google Classroom.

• Assignments are due every Friday.

• Late or missing assignments will receive a 0.

• Technical difficulties?  Email jhess@ojrsd.net  before the due date.

• Remember: practice as often as you can!  (Don't just record your submissions and be done.)

How To Record On Your Chromebook Directly In Google Classroom

• Open Google Classroom and click on our class.

• Go to the Classwork tab and open your assignment.  You might also have to click View Instructions.

• Under Your work, click Add or create.

• Select Record video (or the recording option provided).

• Allow browser or app permissions for your camera and microphone if prompted.

• Record your video, stop when finished, and attach or save it to the assignment.
