Student transportation is organized through the Owen J. Roberts School District Transportation Department. Students are expected to ride their assigned bus, use their assigned bus stop, and follow all bus safety expectations. Riding the bus is a privilege, and unsafe or inappropriate behavior may result in school consequences or loss of bus privileges.
Review your child’s bus assignment, bus number, stop location, and pick-up/drop-off times before the start of school. Bus assignments are posted on Skyward the week before school begins.
Make sure your child arrives at the bus stop five minutes before the scheduled arrival of the bus and waits safely away from the roadway.
Remind your child to follow the bus driver’s directions, stay seated, use appropriate language, and keep their hands, feet, and belongings to themselves.
Contact the Transportation Department or the school office if you have questions about bus routes, stops, or other transportation concerns.
Submit any transportation change requests, child-care transportation requests, or dismissal changes through the approved school or district process. Do not assume a change is approved until it is confirmed.
