About Coach Sells

I grew up in Lee's Summit and attended Lee's Summit High School. I earned a scholarship to Washburn University to play Softball and earn a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education. I also attended Benedictine College and earned a Master's in School Leadership.

This is my 17th year teaching but my first at Oak Grove. I started teaching at Lansing High School in Lansing. After 11 years of teaching, I took a two year sabbatical to teach in Saudi Arabia. In 2020, I returned to Lansing to honor my sabbatical. 

In my first year at Oak Grove High School, I am teaching a variety of Physical Education classes. I am also the assistant coach for boys soccer and middle school girls basketball. I am really excited to be at Oak Grove High School and the community of  Oak Grove
