Reflection on 7/23/24
It was pouring rain this morning so I couldn't do much out there, it had flooded the shallow waters and was moving semi-fast and was super muddy. There weren't any riffles because the water was so high over the rocks. The air today was 74 degrees fahrenheit and the water was 67.7 degrees fahrenheit. The pH of the water was 6.3 on the specific scale and 6 on the general scale. The conductivity had raised to 174. It was a pretty good day!Â
My sketches for today was a top view of the stream, on the one on the top row I tried to write that there was no island but it was harder to get the pencil on the page because it was raining. I also sketched a (very bad drawing of a) duck that I saw!
