These are the sketches that I drew today! I drew on the right, the mini island, and tried to draw how the trees and vegetation looked like but I'm not a wonderful artist so I didn't really achieve the look. On the left side is a side view of the island, and showing the rocks and vegetation on the side.
Reflection on 7/21/24
I tested the waters of the South Branch of the Waits River. The air today was around 75 degress Fahrenheit and the water was around 71 degrees Fahrenheit, it was partly cloudy out and the water was completely clear. The pH of the water was about 6.6 on the specific scale and for the more general pH strip it was more around 6. The conductivity was 228. Everything went mostly smooth except working alone for the e-coli sample had made me more stressed than I thought it would. Overall I really loved sampling the river and I'm excited to do it again tomorrow!
