Hi! My name is Tamaya Mozell, I am a sophomore majoring in Exercise Science and minoring in Psychology. I was born and raised in Suffolk, Va, where I began to develop a love and passion for sports. I intend to become one of the next sports physical therapist or sports psychiatrist for one of the professional sports teams one day. I believe that this generation is the future of today, tomorrow, and yesterday, so we can accomplish anything that we put our minds to! The change starts with us, so all we can do is
think differently and outside of the box. Outside of my studies, I love to read, binge watch Netflix shows, and spend quality time with my family and friends. Aside from the fun things that I enjoy, I am very involved on campus from being involved in 1ODU, participating in SAC, and so much more.
My name is Tanatswa Lyle Sambana and I am currently a junior pursuing a degree in biomedical sciences with a concentration in pre-health and a minor in psychology. I am from Richmond Virginia, but was born in Zimbabwe, a country in southern Africa. In the fall and spring of 2021-2022, I will be a senior at Old Dominion University. While being a regular student, I am also involved in different ODU organizations, from College of Sciences Ambassador to being the vice president of ASA: African Student Association, and being a peer mentor for TRIO: Student Support Services.
Hey! My name is Treasure Claiborne-Cunningham and I am currently a freshman, majoring in Marine Biology. I was born and raised in Hampton, Virginia. This is my first time participating in the Innovate Monarchs program. I have a laidback, but bubbly personality, which makes it easy for me to converse with others. In my free time, I like to read, listen to music, sleep, play video games, and hang out with my friends and family. I am not currently involved in any clubs/organizations at Old Dominion, but plan on becoming active in their acting program and/or girls rugby team.
