NACADA Facilitator Design

This is an online training course for NACADA eTutorial facilitators. NACADA: The Global Community for Academic Advising is an association of professional advisors, counselors, faculty, administrators, and students working to enhance the educational development of students. eTutorials are the 3.5-week asynchronous professional development courses for academic advisors and advising administrators. The purpose of this short, asynchronous, self-paced training course is to instruct NACADA eTutorial facilitators in three primary areas: (1) eTutorial design and structure, (2) facilitator expectations, and (3) Canvas LMS navigation and functions. By focusing on these three topical areas, facilitators will become confident and prepared to facilitate eTutorials assigned to them. Additionally, by completing this training, eTutorial facilitators will represent quality instructors NACADA members expect in their professional development.
