Every person worker in Canada has the right to a safe work environment. As you read in module 1-2, there is a shared responsibility between employer, supervisor, and employee to ensure that the workplace creates, enforces, and follows safety policies. This is meant to encourage everybody at the workplace to work together to identify possible safety issues and to make any improvements needed.
