A. What is PowerSchool?
PowerSchool is the system the district uses to input assignments, grades, attendance, etc.
B. What is the PowerSchool Student Portal?
The student portal is an online portal accessible anywhere on the web that students can log in to and see their grades, assignments, scores, missing work, attendance, and more. You can access the student portal here.
C. What is the PowerSchool Parent Portal?
New to Albany's middle school this year! The parent portal is an online portal accessible anywhere on the web that parents can log in to and see their children's grades, assignments, scores, missing work, and attendance. You can access the parent portal here.
D. How do I log into PowerSchool?
To log in for the first time:
Access the Parent or Student Portal. Each school or district has a unique link for parents and students to access their portals. Here is ACS' link.
Create an Account. Once in the Parent or Student Portal, you will need to create an account. Be sure to store your username and password in a secure manner.
Add your students. Use the Access ID for each of your students to link them to your account.
Once you have created an account:
Visit the Parent or Student Portal
Enter your username and password
