5/6th grade are learning about cells and our human body systems by answering the question "How do Living Things Heal?" We dissected chicken wings are using microscopes to learn more about blood, skin, muscle, bones, and nerves, and to discover what makes up the building blocks of life. 

7th and 8th grade have been studying the history of Life on Earth, and have learned about the timeline of the earth, how living things are all related and have changed over time, and are currently learning about if humans are causing a 6th mass extinction event. Students will present a group project discussing this phenomena, as well as an individual project of their research on an endangered species.
