The Fundamental Principles

It's time to get off PLANET YOU and join the rest of us on PLANET EARTH.

I. Always being respectful.

• We will all be working together in groups.  Yes - Groups. Get over it! Teams are challenging but do bring out the best in us.  Which allows us to experience and conquer difficult situations and grow as individuals.

• Get to know your classmates!!! - Don't  sit there like a bump on a log all year.  We are going to be together all year long and in some cases for four years! Mingle and Chat when appropriate. 

• Hate 'em - Love 'em, your team mates are just that! TEAM MATES!

  • Not getting along?  Deal with it in a positive manner and you'll soon find out you've made a new friend. 

  • Disagreeing?  Agree that you disagree and find a new solution TOGETHER!  

  • Remember its not about whose in the right its about what is the right thing to do that's best for the team because your grade depends on it!

II. Striving to increase competence and experience in all knowledge. 

• Strive to be a better person than you were yesterday! 

• If you don't know the answer . . . FIND OUT! Ask the instructor, look for it online or pick up a book! . . . So many options!

• Don't memorize content. KNOW IT. 

• EFFORT. It is the number one KEY to your SUCCESS no matter what situation or stage of life you are in. 

• EFFORT = SUCCESS. 

• The true sign of a master is their ability and desire to put forth every strand of  knowledge they have learned on their path and applying it with an intent to succeed - no matter how large or small the task. 

III. Seeking to provide entertainment that also educates and enlightens others. 

• All your projects should have an intense goal to EDUCATE & INSPIRE!!!

• Vulgarity  or lewd comments in any of your projects will not be tolerated. 

• This is an educational environment - Let's keep it professional folks! 

• Think about your audience from an educational perspective, your work should be able to be viewed by ALL AGES.  (Think about movies that have accomplished this: Harry Potter, Star Wars etc.)
