Make the conscious choice to keep track of your grades by becoming independent and responsible.  If you have an absence it is your responsibility to make up that work in a timely manner.  

• DO NOT approach me at the end of the 9 weeks regarding concerns about an assignment you did not make up in a timely manner.

• "I FORGOT" is NOT an acceptable excuse. 

• PERSONAL ACCOUNTABILITY.  Try it! Its pretty awesome.

• DO CHECK YOUR GOOGLE CLASSROOMS when you are absent I am constantly posting daily assignments.  I ALSO MAKE CHANGES AND UPDATES! KEEP UP!

• You have FIVE DAYS with an EXCUSED ABSENCE to make up any missed assignments. Except for any projects assigned after the first PHOTOSHOP Certification exam! (I no longer consider you rookies at that point)

CLASS PROJECT POLICIES FOR YEAR 1 STUDENTS:

• AS LONG AS YOU SUBMIT YOUR PROJECT THE DAY IT IS DUE, YOU HAVE FIVE DAYS TO REVISE YOUR PROJECT FOR FULL CREDIT.  ( Often in the real world your work will go through revision phases were you must adhere to feedback and changes to your work this procedure allows you to become accustomed to this very ADULT reality.)

• IF YOU DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR WORK ON TIME -  YOU FORFEIT YOUR FIVE DAYS  AND -20PTS WILL BE DEDUCTED EVERY DAY IT IS LATE UNTIL YOU HAVE A ZERO. (UNLESS YOU HAVE AN EXCUSED ABSENCE)

• THIS POLICY WILL ONLY BE IN PLACE UNTIL YOU TAKE YOUR CERTIFICATION EXAM AFTERWARDS THIS RULE WILL NO LONGER APPLY.
