🌭 Hot Dog Day is Back! 🌭
Get ready for one of our students’ favourite lunches! Hot Dog Day is happening on Tuesday, November 18.
Parents can order through School Cash Online from October 30 to November 11 — don’t wait too long, because late orders won’t be accepted after 10 pm on November 11th.
It’s sure to be a delicious day at St. Marguerite d’Youville! 🎉
Popcorn Tuesdays
Popcorn Tuesdays
We are fundraising for new gym equipment, recess toys/games, and kindergarten outdoor play supplies. We are offering Kernels Popcorn this year. Students are invited to purchase a single serving-size bag of popcorn.
Students can choose from 5 different flavours! We are offering Buttersalt, White Cheddar, Dill Pickle, Salt and Vinegar, and Thai Sweet Chilli. These flavours are nut-free and gluten-free. For more information about ingredients, please visit: https://www.kernelspopcorn.com/
The popcorn will be delivered to students every Tuesday for 4 weeks: November 25, December 2, December 9, and December 16. Orders can be made via School Cash Online for $2.50 per bag (for a total of $10.00 for these 4 weeks).
Orders must be placed on SchoolCash Online between October 31st and November 11th. No orders can be accepted after 10 pm on November 11th.

Due to operational requirements, our school office will be closed from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. while Ms. Brady-McCowell is on her lunch break. Please leave a detailed message when you call, and we will reply at our earliest convenience.
If you are picking up or dropping off your child during this time, it may take longer than usual. Although we recognize this might not always be possible, you are encouraged to arrange student appointments outside of this time to avoid delays. Please let us know in advance if you will be picking up or dropping off your child during this time.

Food / Allergies
Food / Allergies
Foods containing nuts (tree nuts or legumes) are not permitted at school at any time of year. We have many children with severe nut allergies (both peanut and other nuts); therefore, ALL student snacks and lunches must be entirely peanut- and nut-free.
Cell Phones
Cell Phones
As per Ministry guidelines, students at St. Marguerite d'Youville are not permitted to use cell phones during the school day. If a student needs to reach their parents/guardians, they must come to the office. If a student has a cell phone at school, they must keep it in their backpack, and the phone should not be seen by anyone. If students are seen with their phones out, they will bring their phones to the Office.
