In our LC we are passionate about visual art and promoting reading through art . Here are some examples:
This is our ZenTangle Art project:
Handpainted by Ms. Handley
and then colour painting by student A. Todd and Algonquin Placement student Ms. Richards.
Wall murals just outside the LC. Harry Potter, Life of Pi, and Dracula. Painting done by Community Artist : Amanda Sparks.
Student Art in the LC:
The large READ letters were made from cardboard packing material.
Wrapping paper and coloured plastic table cloths were used to decorated the concrete pillars as pencils.
LC Art : These art pieces were created using our " Cricut " letter cutting machine
