Fall Cookie Recipe from

---What you need---


One Cup (2 sticks) Salted Butter (softened, not microwaved)


One Cup Granulated Sugar


One Cup Brown Sugar


Two Teaspoons Vanilla Extract


Two Large Eggs


Three cups Flour


One Teaspoon Baking soda


½ Teaspoon Baking Powder


One Teaspoon Salt


One Teaspoon of Cinnamon


Two Cups Chocolate Chips (or more if you want)



---INSTRUCTIONS---


  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.

  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder, and cinnamon and set aside.

  3. In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and sugars until combined.

  4. Beat in eggs and vanilla until fluffy.

  5. Mix in the dry ingredients until combined.

  6. Add chocolate chips.

  7. Roll 2-3 tablespoons of dough at a time into balls and place them evenly spaced on the prepared cookie sheets.

  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes. Take them out when they are just starting to turn brown.


---How to make Fall Frosting---


½ cup unsalted butter, softened


½ teaspoon Vanilla Extract


Two Cups Confectioner Sugar


Two Tablespoons Milk


Food Coloring


---INSTRUCTIONS---


  1. Cream room temperature butter with a hand mixer.

  2. Gradually beat in Confectioner Sugar until fully mixed in.

  3. Beat in Vanilla Extract.

  4. Pour in Milk and beat for an additional 2 minutes

  5. Separate into three bowls. In one bowl, add a few drops of red food coloring, in the second bowl, add a few drops of yellow food coloring, and in the third bowl add both red and yellow food coloring to make orange.
