August 25th: Email sent to Kindergarten Families from the SMPS office with start-up information (please check junk folders!)

August 27th: Bus Loop Visit to pick up backpack tag, drop off supplies
8-9am / 12-1pm

August 28th: Email sent to KFamilies from the office to share class placement.
August 31st: Email sent to Kindergarten Families from Educator Team to share class placement and start-up information

September 1 2026: First day of school for all students
Registration is Open!
Registration is open for the 2026/2027 school year. If your child will turn 4 by December 31st, 2026, you can register them for Kindergarten.
OCDSB Kindergarten Online Registration
The School Boundaries / Locator Tool tool will help you to determine if your address falls within the boundaries for SMPS.
The OCDSB Family Reception Centre is designed to help you if English is not your first language. Staff can also assist with new Permanent Residents to Canada, families returning from abroad, or those transferring from a French language school board. You can call the Family Reception Centre at (613) 239-2416 to make an appointment.
