Outdoor Time

Throughout all seasons, Kindergarten students will have plenty of outdoor play time during the school day.

Our two beautiful fenced Kindergarten yards provide lots of opportunity for gross motor play, exploring in nature, and playing with friends.

Front Kindergarten Yard

The front yard is at the corner of Spratt Rd and Goldeneye Way

Back Kindergarten Yard

The back yard is parallel to the loop on Goldeneye Way

We Play Outside in All Kinds of Weather!

Students are happiest when they are warm and dry outside!

Here are some things to have on hand:

Sunny Days

Sun hat
Light clothing
Apply sunscreen before school

Rainy Days

Waterproof rain pants
Rain jacket
Rubber boots
*No umbrellas please!*

Cold Winter Days

A warm snowsuit
Warm, waterproof winter boots
Neckwarmer (instead of scarf)
Toque / Winter hat
Mittens (instead of gloves)

Label Everything!

Mabel's Labels offers sets of machine-washable, personalized labels. These help us identify your child's belongings easily should something get lost or left behind at school. Our 'lost and found' overflows with items that don't have labels, as many students have similar items and don't always recognize their belongings. Labels help everyone!
