Thanks for joining us at Campopoly! See you next year.
Builders are students (typically in grades 11 and 12) who are part of the Leadership Planning Committee (LPC)—the team that BUILDS Leadership Camp and brings it to life.
They meet once a week throughout the school year to plan every detail of camp, from activities and cheers to themes, decorations, and group experiences. Builders are the energy and leadership behind everything that makes camp memorable.
At camp, Builders:
Lead camper groups and run activities, helping our campers build skills throughout camp
Create and facilitate games, cheers, and bonding moments
Support and guide campers through the weekend
Build an inclusive, spirited atmosphere for everyone
Through their work, Builders strengthen their own leadership, communication, and teamwork skills—gaining experience that extends far beyond camp.
Becoming a Builder is a unique opportunity to take on a meaningful leadership role at South Carleton. Interested students submit an application in the spring and are selected based on their enthusiasm, initiative, and leadership potential.
Applications are currently closed. Check back in the spring for updates and application info!

Leadership Camp wouldn't be possible without the incredible support of our Supervisors, who we affectionately call The Armadillos —a dedicated team of teachers and parent volunteers who work behind the scenes to help Builders bring their vision to life.
Throughout the school year and during camp weekend, The Armadillos:
Guide and support the Leadership Planning Committee (LPC)
Help with logistics, safety, and coordination
Provide mentorship and encouragement
Ensure a safe, inclusive, and fun environment for everyone
They’re not just chaperones—they’re partners in leadership development who help make camp a meaningful and memorable experience for all.
Behind every great Builder is a supportive parent—and we’re incredibly thankful for our amazing Builder Parents who volunteer their time and energy during camp weekend.
These dedicated parents help out as Kitchen Parents, assisting with meal prep, cooking, and keeping everyone fueled and happy. Some also support with logistics, clean-up, and other important behind-the-scenes tasks that keep camp running smoothly.
Their contributions make a huge difference, and their generosity helps create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for campers and Builders alike.
To all our Builder Parents—thank you for being part of the Leadership Camp magic!
